Who We Are
Adam Kushner (Co-Founder and Farm Manager) has gotten his hands dirty goat-farming in Italy, building mud-brick houses in Argentina and Thailand, and milking cows in South Africa. After taking CERC courses at Columbia University, as well as workshops at Heifer’s International Learning Center at Overlook Farm, Adam expanded his knowledge of gardening and permaculture at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, at Added Value Farms, and at Sawkill Farms in Red Hook, NY. Inspired by his experience living communally at Mama Roja, Pun Pun, and Panya, Adam looks forward to fostering an environment for people to connect with nature, each other, and themselves. He aims to teach and learn from others in the hopes of creating a happier and healthier world.
